About WACEFT
The Western Australian Community for EFT is a volunteer-run group of therapists passionate about EFT in WA. We are keen to share this powerful model of therapy with the world and to support other therapists in their EFT practice and growth!

WACEFT Mission
Link individuals, couples and families to excellent EFT services, promote the learning and practice of EFT in WA, provide a forum for professionals interested in EFT to connect and grow together.

WACEFT Inception
The Western Australian Community for EFT was established in late November 2022 through the collaborative efforts of passionate therapists who volunteered their time and energy to build a thriving EFT community in WA. Starting in 2025, the community is led by a dedicated core group, with the invaluable support of Clare Rosoman, an ICEEFT Certified Trainer from the Brisbane Centre for EFT.
Our EFT Connections
WACEFT is guided by The International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT), Ottawa, Canada.
ICEEFT was founded in 1998 by Dr Sue Johnson and her colleagues. It offers educational courses and training to mental health professionals, provides certification for EFT therapists around the world, and undertakes clinical research studies.
ICEEFT works closely with its various affiliated EFT Centers and Communities throughout the world with the mission of educating health professionals and increasing public awareness about the efficacy of EFT and its role in strengthening relationship bonds.
